It’s a lifestyle
K. Hovnanian, a national new home builder, was looking for a digital transformation of their active lifestyle communities — K. Hovnanian’s Four Seasons. These communities were originally intermixed on one site among all of K. Hov’s homes. We proposed creating a reciprocal site specifically for the 55+ home buyers looking for low-maintenance, resort-style living.
Show, don’t tell
While K. Hov’s main site focused on selling beautifully designed homes, the biggest selling point for Four Seasons was the lifestyle. We wanted to show the audience what life would be like at these communities by utilizing photography and videos. This visual storytelling would keep things beautifully simple – just like the lifestyle our audience was seeking. To keep the imagery in the forefront, we kept text to a minimum but gave the user the option to read more (in full screen overlays) if they were interested.
Pick a community, pick a home
Inside each community lived a handful of different home designs. For a customized look – and to help differentiate things – each home design page gallery would be color coordinated to match the styling of the home’s interior.
